Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central sync error: The field Gen. Bus. Posting Group of table Customer contains a value (DOMESTICAR) that cannot be found in the related table (Gen. Business Posting Group)

Why the sync error occurs

This error occurs when a customer in Cashflow360 is trying to sync to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (MSDBC), but the General Business Posting Group sync preference is missing or incorrect.


How to fix the sync error

Check the sync preferences in Cashflow360 to be sure the correct name is entered for General Business Posting Group.

  1. Select Settings
  2. Select Preferences under Sync
  3. Select the Edit icon
  4. Enter or correct the General Business Posting Group, and select Save
  5. Sync again
