Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central: Bills/Purchase Invoices
To help best manage your accounts payable, here are some things to know about the bill/purchase invoice workflow between Cashflow360 and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (MSDBC).
Bills/Purchase Invoices
- Bills in Cashflow360 will sync to MSDBC as unposted purchase invoices.
- Unpaid posted and unposted purchase invoices in MSDBC will sync to Cashflow360 as bills.
- Edits to a bill in Cashflow360 will not sync to the purchase invoice in MSDBC if the purchase invoice is posted.
- If you need to add a discount to a purchase invoice, create the purchase invoice in MSDBC and let it sync to Cashflow360.
- If a bill has a discount on it in MSDBC, only edit the bill in MSDBC and let the edit sync to Cashflow360 or the discount may be overridden.
- Edits to a purchase invoice in MSDBC will not sync to the bill in Cashflow360 if the bill is paid or partially paid.
- If you delete/inactivate a bill in Cashflow360, it will not sync to MSDBC if the purchase invoice has been posted.
- If you delete a purchase invoice in MSDBC, it will not sync to the bill in Cashflow360 if the bill is paid or partially paid.
- If you use dimensions on a purchase invoice in MSDBC or a bill in Cashflow360, you also need to add those dimensions to the vendor in MSDBC.
- Multi-currency transactions currently don't sync between Cashflow360 and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. You'll need to enter any multi-currency transactions manually in both Cashflow360 and Microsoft Dynamics Business Central separately.
