Why the sync error occurs

This error occurs when the sync can't complete due to the QuickBooks Online account being inaccessible because of permission issues or an issue with the QuickBooks Online account subscription.

How to fix the sync error

Verify that the correct user has set up the sync by disconnecting and reconnecting using the QuickBooks Online Primary Administrator's login credentials:

In Cashflow360℠:

  1. Select Settings
  2. Select Setup under Sync
  3. Select Disconnect
  4. Clear your browser cookies and temporary internet files
  5. Select the Settings
  6. Select Setup under Sync
  7. Select Connect with QuickBooks

In the pop up window:

  • If the QuickBooks Online Primary Administrator is setting up the sync and is logged in to QuickBooks Online in the same browser as this Cashflow360 Sync setup, complete the setup
  • If another user is setting up the sync, that user enters the QuickBooks Online Primary Administrator login credentials when prompted to log into QuickBooks Online/Intuit

If the error continues after reconnecting the sync with the current QuickBooks Online Primary Administrator login information, contact Intuit Customer Support to review the QuickBooks Online subscription.
