Sage Intacct sync error: The string "XXX" in the field "NameOnCheck" is too long

Why the sync error occurs

This error occurs based on a limit on the characters in the Pay To field. In Sage Intacct, the maximum number of characters is 200 characters.


How to fix the sync error

Reduce the number of characters in the Pay to field on your vendor record to adhere to the limit per accounting software.

For your vendors, customers, departments and chart of accounts lists to sync correctly, Cashflow360℠ will match the character limitation of the accounting system your account is syncing to. For example, if you were previously syncing with Sage Intacct and migrated to QuickBooks Desktop, the original character limit in Cashflow360 will update from 200 characters to 41 characters.
