Edit the Payment Account on a bill payment
If you sync with an accounting system, we'll post payments as a debit journal entry to your Accounts Payable account and a credit journal entry to the Payment Account for the bill payment.
Payment Account as listed in the GL Account for Bank Account field
For Cashflow360 payments, the Payment Account is what is listed in the GL Account for Bank Account field located in your Sync Preferences. Once a payment is scheduled, the Payment Account associated with the payment can't be edited in Cashflow360. You'll need to manully update the journal entry in the accounting system.
Cancel the payment to update the Payment Account
If the payment hasn't processed yet, you can cancel it. Update the GL Account for Bank Account field located in your Sync Preferences, then schedule a new payment.
Manual Journal Entry to update the Payment Account
If the Payment has processed, once the payment syncs, you can make a manual Journal Entry in the accounting system.
Offline Payments
For Offline Payments you record in Cashflow360, you can edit the Payment Account on the Bill Payment Information screen by selecting the notepad icon.
