Why the sync error occurs

Something within QuickBooks is already being used. Another instance of QuickBooks running may cause this.

For example, you have an invoice open in QuickBooks, meanwhile, another user is attempting to sync the payment to that invoice.

How to fix the sync error

  1. All users should close QuickBooks and the sync dashboard
  2. Sync again

If the error persists, reboot your computer. Once back up and running sync again.
