Quickbooks Online sync error: "Please try syncing again. If this problem persists for more than 3 hours, please contact Customer Support"

Why the sync error occurs

This error occurs when the sync connection between Cashflow360 and Quickbooks Online has failed.


How to fix the sync error

To resolve this error, disconnect then reconnect the sync.

Disconnect the sync

  1. Select Settings
  2. Select Setup under Sync
  3. Select Disconnect

Reconnect the sync

  1. Select Settings
  2. Select Setup under Sync
  3. Select Connect to QuickBooks
  4. Enter your QuickBooks Online Primary Admin user ID and password, and Select Sign in
  5. Select the company in QuickBooks Online you want to sync to your Cashflow360 account
  6. Select Confirm
    • For accountants adding this to your own firm in QuickBooks Online, select Add app to firm
  7. Review that the company selected is correct, then select Authorize
