What is auto-connection?
Auto-connection enables you to pay vendors via the BILL network simpler, and faster than before, without having to manually send invitations. We identify which vendors you’re already paying who also have accounts on the BILL network, and create a network connection so that you can pay them directly to their Cashflow360 verified bank account.
What does auto-connection cost?
Cashflow360 added this feature at no additional cost to make connecting to, and paying your vendors easier!
Why is Cashflow360 auto-connecting my vendors?
Connecting to vendors through the BILL network enables you to pay your vendors through their existing Cashflow360 account, to a Cashflow360 verified bank. This enables them to receive payments from multiple customers in one place.
Auto-connection means that you don’t need to manually search the network or send invitations to your vendors. You can simply review the new or pending connections we provide, with no further action needed to connect. You can even cancel a pending connection, or disconnect connections with one easy step if you choose. We hope this feature will help you expand your connections on the BILL network easier and more often.
What assurance does Cashflow360 provide for auto-connections?
We only connect vendors in our network, and deliver payments to Cashflow360 verified banks. Network auto-connections help your payments go to the right place every time, with no extra work for you, or we’ll refund the payment.
How does Cashflow360 know it's the right vendor?
We review specific pieces of information like the vendor's name, address, and payment history to make sure we’re making the connection correctly.
Who can manage auto-connections?
Users with Manage network permissions can disconnect connected vendors or cancel pending connections from the auto-connections settings page.
Users with View vendors permissions can view the vendors list and status on the auto-connections settings page, but cannot take any action on them.
How do I manage auto-connections?
Manage auto-connections from the Network Settings page.
- Select Settings.
- Select Your Company.
- Select Network Auto-Connections.
This page includes:
- Information about auto-connection: How auto-connection works, what safety measures Cashflow360 has put in place, etc.
-
List of vendors:
- Vendor name
- Planned connection date if pending
- Connected date if connected
- Connection status
- Actions to take: cancel pending connection or disconnect an existing connection
How do I know when I have new connections?
The first time you pay a vendor after they've been auto-connected, we’ll show a banner on the payment page. We’ll also email you when we connect any vendors.
How can I tell a vendor was connected by auto-connection?
If we find a match for your vendor in our Network and connect them via auto-connect, the vendor's audit trail will show an update to match status from unmatched to Automatched.
How do I disconnect an auto-connection?
For vendors that are pending auto-connection, you can cancel the pending connection on a per-vendor basis on the auto-connections settings page.
- Select Settings.
- Select Your Company.
- Select Network Auto-Connections.
- Select Cancel auto-connection for the vendor connection you'd like to cancel.
For vendors that have already been connected, you can disconnect from two places.
On the auto-connection settings page:
- Select Settings.
- Select Your Company.
- Select Network Auto-Connections.
- Select Disconnect for the vendor you'd like to disconnect.
On the vendor details page:
- Select Vendors in the navigation menu.
- Select the vendor's name you'd like to disconnect.
- Select More actions, and then Disconnect.
If you disconnect from an auto-connected vendor, or cancel the pending connection, we will not auto-connect you to that vendor again.
Can I turn off auto-connections?
We highly suggest managing auto-connections at a vendor level so you can still benefit from this time-saving feature. If you disconnect from an auto-connected vendor, or cancel the pending connection, we will not auto-connect you to that vendor again.
If you're certain you don’t want any vendors auto-connected, please contact Customer Support.
